Being out in the field at all hours of the day, 365 days a year, our customers often capture incredible wildlife moments on camera. Whether of birds warming up at dawn or bats exiting a cave at dusk (and everything in between), these snapshots tell a story in a way that words just can’t.
And so, we’re excited to launch our first-ever wildlife photo contest! See below for the scoop on who, what, when, where, why, and how to enter.
Wildlife photography enthusiasts of all skill levels! (Except for Faunatech, Wildlife Acoustics, and Reconyx employees, board members, and freelance contributors).
Digital photography of wildlife from anywhere in the world. Photos of wildlife within its natural habitat or zoo setting will be accepted. Participants are encouraged to submit photos in one or both of the following categories:
Photos of wildlife taken with a DSLR, mirrorless, point-and-shoot, or phone camera.
Photos of wildlife taken with a camera trap.
The photo contest will run from the 1st of May to 30th of June, 2023. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm (AEST) on the 30th of June, 2023.
Sharing nature’s beauty. Plus, prizes!
Two lucky winners (one in each category) will be awarded an HP2X Reconyx Hyperfire 2 Covert IR Camera valued at AUD 743.60.
Please note that Faunatech is only able to deliver prizes within Australia. So while anyone is welcome to submit photos, only Australian citizens or current residents are eligible to win the competition and receive prizes.
Each participant may submit up to three (3) photos per category for six (6) images in total. All entries must be submitted online via the form below.
